We make lobster pot buoys to help decorate your home or cottage or maybe even your office.

Our buoys have been used for weddings, class reunions, birthdays, house number markers, cabana number markers, welcome buoys and even retirement gifts.

Maine Wooden Buoys is owned and operated by James and Kimberly Richards. ?We are a husband and wife team. James learned to make these while helping his grandfather, who was also a Maine lobsterman, when he was a child.  Maine lobsterman now use Styrofoam buoys instead of cedar. We live in along the mid-coast of Maine in the small fishing village of Friendship.
