McCall’s is a family-owned, Made in the USA company. Founded by Dan McCall and his mother Dee McCall in the early 1990s as a wood manufacturer for the tole-painting industry, “McCall’s Country Canning” entered the world of candle-making and became McCall’s Candles when we decided to manufacture our own candles to put in a new candle box for our tole customers. Our first candles were presented in old-fashioned paint cans with handles. However, most gift and retail stores had a desire for jar candles. After months of trial and error, a country jar candle with a rustic metal lid embossed with the McCall’s Country Canning logo was developed. Orders soon exceeded production capacity and many orders had to regretfully be turned down. After outgrowing our Murrieta-based building, we relocated our shipping and distribution center to the old 80,000 square foot Fisher Manufacturing pool table factory on Highway 50 West in Tipton, Missouri in 2007. It is here that we manufacture, pour and ship our candle and fragrance products for retailers and consumers across the country, Canada and abroad.
